Saint Claude

Saint Claude takes its name from the town in France's Jura region that is Chacom's home base and considered the cradle of French pipe-making. Light and red Virginias form the body of the blend, with a small proportion of black cavendish added alongside them. A lightly applied chocolate-and-vanilla casing sits on top.

The casing is kept restrained enough not to overtake the leaf; chocolate is somewhat more pronounced, giving a marshmallow-like tone at times. The smoke is cool and clean, flavor intensity leans light, and nicotine is low. Suitable for those seeking a soft aromatic with a measured casing that can be smoked all day.
