Virginia Three Year Matured

Virginia Three Year Matured is a medium-bodied blend based on red Virginia leaf matured for three years, with Oriental leaf added on top. The matured red leaf gives the blend a dark sweetness reminiscent of cooked fruit; this is joined by a bready base, light spice and a very faint fruity topping. The result is a ribbon-cut smoke sitting somewhere between sweet and savory.

The blend is offered under the Charatan name as the counterpart taking the place of Dunhill's Three Year Matured. Charatan is a British-origin brand; production today is carried out in continental Europe. Suitable for smokers seeking the deepened flavor of matured Virginia in a structure without heavy Latakia.
