Sterling Balkan is a full-bodied English/Balkan-type blend carrying a generous share of Latakia. Despite the smoky weight of the Latakia, the smoke stays smooth and cool; a faint sweetness from the Virginia base softens the edges of the smoke. No casing is used.
The blend was released under the German firm Charles Fairmorn; some of the same blends were also distributed under the F&K name. Suitable for smokers who regularly smoke Latakia-forward blends and want a full mixture reserved for evening hours.
