Princes Street Mixture

Princes Street Mixture is an English mixture reconstructed from a twenty-eight-year-old sample of John Cotton 1&2 Medium. Latakia is used in measured amounts, with Virginia base and Oriental leaf brought to the front; the smoke is smooth and leaves no harshness on the tongue.

The blend was prepared by Dick Silverman, a tobacconist in Ridgefield, Connecticut for over thirty years, and was chosen first place in the John Cotton recreation contest at the 2012 Chicago Pipe Show. The name comes from the street where the shop is located. Suitable for smokers seeking measured English mixtures without heavy Latakia.
