Bayou Buck

Bayou Buck is a blend where a generous share of perique is balanced against ripened red Virginia. Perique carries the spicy, plummy side, while red Virginia gives a tangy sweetness and dark fruit; the blend also has Green River Burley added, toasted into black cavendish, and this component gives the smoke a creamy body. No flavoring sauce is used.

The blend is one of three tobaccos pipe maker Chris Morgan prepared together with the Sutliff Tobacco Company; the others are Jackalope and White Rabbit. It suits smokers looking for the Virginia-Perique structure paired with a round, burley-derived body.
