Cask #4 Stand Fast Navy

Blend No. 4 in Comoy's of London's Cask series is an unflavored Virginia-perique mixture prepared in the traditional navy-flake style. Ripened Virginia leaves are pressed together with Louisiana perique and sliced; the flake can be smoked rubbed out or folded into the bowl.

On the flavor channel, the Virginias' bready, dried-fruit-leaning sweetness leads; perique layers on top of that a dark-fruit, plum-like note with a peppery spice. It suits smokers looking for an unflavored, medium-bodied, slow-smoking flake. According to available records, Comoy's Cask series has not been in production for some time.
