Canal Boat

Canal Boat is one of Cornell & Diehl's blends built around cube-cut burley. It is constructed by adding Cyprus Latakia and unsweetened black cavendish to a nutty burley base; despite its unflavored structure, the Latakia level gives the blend a pronounced smoky tone. The cube cut burns slowly, while black cavendish adds softness and a light sweetness to the body.

Its character sits along a medium-bodied, smoky-sweet line, with tones reminiscent of toasted oats and cocoa described. It suits smokers wanting to get acquainted with Latakia without the intensity of a full English blend, as well as those looking for burley-based, moderately smoky mixtures.
