Christmas Blend 2014 (We Three Kings)

We Three Kings was released as Cornell & Diehl's 2014 holiday blend and was later added permanently to the catalog. It takes its name from the American Christmas carol written in 1857. One measure of black cavendish is joined by equal measures of red Virginia, light Virginia, and Katerini Oriental; it is topped with a light flavoring along the lines of allspice, cinnamon, and vanilla.

It is a lightly flavored Virginia-Oriental mixture that lets the natural sweetness and spice of the flue-cured and sun-cured leaves come through; on the palate, tones reminiscent of brown sugar and baked goods sit alongside an earthy, floral background. It suits smokers who avoid heavy aromatics but want a seasonal, spiced sweetness.
