Ghost of Christmas Past

Ghost of Christmas Past is the burley-forward member of Cornell & Diehl's 2022 Wintertime Reserve trilogy. Dark, white, and cube-cut burley varieties are combined with bright flue-cured leaf and a measured amount of Latakia, then pressed into a cake; it is a hand-prepared seasonal series made in small batches.

The flavor profile combines burley's nutty, cocoa-like dryness, Latakia's woody smoke, and Virginia's measured sweetness. It carries a medium-to-full-bodied, dry, earthy character; it is unflavored. It is intended for smokers accustomed to burley-based, smoky, hearty blends, and for cold-weather smoking. Being a limited release, it is not part of current production.
