Good Morning

Good Morning is a ribbon-cut English mixture Cornell & Diehl prepared years ago for the Chicagoland Pipe Show. Its base is red and bright Virginia; Cyprus Latakia and Oriental leaves play a supporting role, with no added flavoring.

Red Virginia's ripe dark-fruit and earthy notes lead, while bright Virginia carries the citrus-and-grass side. Latakia builds a smoky, woody frame, joined by the Orientals with their spicy, dry, buttery sweetness; the Latakia level is kept from overwhelming the blend. This makes it suitable for those new to English mixtures and for anyone wanting a lightly smoky smoke early in the day.
