Happy Hour

Happy Hour is a bulk blend among Cornell & Diehl's English mixtures. Its base is built from sweet bright Virginia and darker red Virginia leaves; a thin layer of Oriental and a small amount of perique are added. The manufacturer's description also lists black cavendish and Latakia among the components. It is a ribbon cut.

Rather than the heavy English mixtures where Latakia leaps to the front, the blend offers a balanced profile with spice and measured smoke layered over Virginia sweetness; perique adds a plummy, spicy depth.
