Haunted Bookshop

Haunted Bookshop is one of the blends by the late Cornell & Diehl blender Bob Runowski, named after Christopher Morley's novel of the same name. A burley base is joined by red Virginia and a measured amount of perique; it is offered as a crumble cake that breaks apart easily by hand.

Burley defines the blend's character, giving an earthy, nutty, full-bodied smoke. Red Virginia adds natural sweetness and depth, while perique contributes a fine spice and complexity. Nicotine runs above medium; it is aimed at those seeking an unflavored, burley-driven classic American smoke.
