Haunted Bookshop Cake

Haunted Bookshop Cake is the pressed form of Haunted Bookshop, Cornell & Diehl's burley-forward classic. The blend, made of burley, Virginia, and perique, is pressed into a cake and offered as a crumble cake.

Pressing lets the flavors meld together and makes the tobacco more amenable to aging; the smoker can break off a piece from the cake and pack it with little preparation. Burley's dry, nutty body is joined by perique's spice and plum tone. It suits smokers wanting an unflavored blend of medium strength and the depth that pressed tobaccos offer.
