Mad Fiddler Flake is a pressed flake starring Indonesian-origin Kasturi cigar leaf, rounded out with red Virginia, Perique, and black Cavendish. As in Cornell & Diehl's other blends using cigar leaf, Kasturi gives the smoke body and texture.
On the smoke, a spice reminiscent of dry cinnamon and clove comes forward alongside dark fruit notes and a measured sweetness; Perique's spice sharpens Kasturi's earthy character. Body sits between medium and full, and nicotine is noticeable. Aimed at those interested in full-bodied flakes containing cigar leaf.
