Mississippi Mud

Mississippi Mud is an unusual English blend built on unsweetened black Cavendish, Cyprus Latakia, and Perique, containing no Virginia. Toasted Cavendish gives the blend its dark color and rounded sweetness.

In the pouch note, sweet, smoky Latakia leads, while Perique leaves a subtle peppery edge in the background. On the smoke, a creamy texture, a nutty base, notes reminiscent of black coffee and chocolate, and measured spice appear; it burns cool.
