Morning Drive

Morning Drive is Cornell & Diehl's ribbon-cut English mixture. Red and bright Virginia leaves form the base; burley adds a nutty body, Turkish leaf and perique bring spice, and Latakia layers in a measured touch of smoke. As an unflavored blend, the taste comes entirely from the balance of leaf, and the Latakia level has been deliberately kept low.

Being on the milder end of strength, it works well as a morning smoke or for long sessions, and also serves as a good entry point for smokers new to Latakia blends. According to reports, the Latakia and perique notes become more pronounced with age. It is offered in a 2-ounce tin and an 8-ounce size.
