Old Grove

Old Grove is Cornell & Diehl's ribbon-cut aromatic blend. Bright and red Virginia, dark burley, Katerini Turkish leaf, black cavendish, and granulated perique come together, topped with a light pomegranate flavoring. Because the flavoring level is kept low, the leaves' own herbal and sweet notes remain distinguishable within the smoke.

It takes its name from the Old Grove area of New Orleans, known for its moss-draped old oaks. It suits those avoiding heavy aromatics and looking for a lightly flavored blend that keeps its tobacco character intact. According to the maker, it ages well over long periods, with a peak maturation window given as ten to fifteen years.
