Old Joe Krantz Red Label is the Latakia version of the Burley series of the same name. Red Virginia, Cyprus Latakia, and Perique are added on top of a dark, cube-cut Burley base; black Cavendish rounds out the blend's body. The result is a medium-bodied, lightly spiced English mixture.
Suited to smokers wanting Latakia smoke without giving up Burley character; since the Latakia proportion isn't decisive, it may read as light to those looking for intense Balkan mixtures. Strength, flavor, and room note sit in the medium band. Available in 2-ounce and 8-ounce tins as well as in bulk.
