Pegasus

Pegasus is a classic American Burley mixture from blender Bob Runowski. Per Cornell & Diehl's listing, three separate Burleys, two Virginias, and a small amount of unflavored black Cavendish are brought together. Here the Cavendish isn't a flavor carrier but a component that rounds out the mixture and adds richness to the body.

Burley's nutty, earthy line comes forward, while Virginia adds a measured sweetness. It burns cool and sits in the medium nicotine band. Suited to smokers curious about the character of the era when Burley dominated American pipe tobacco, wanting an unflavored, straightforward smoke.
