Repose

Repose is a light aromatic blend combining cube-cut Burley with Turkish-Oriental leaf and bright Virginia, with dark rum sprinkled on top. The cube cut keeps the tobacco loose in the bowl and lets the ember catch easily.

The rum casing is applied at a level that doesn't mask the blend's natural nutty, dry tones, so it moves more like a flavored Burley mixture than a sugary aromatic. It stays cool when smoked slowly; smoked fast, the tongue bite typical of Burley can appear. It serves as an intermediate step for those wanting to move from aromatics to natural tobacco taste.
