Sansepolcro

Sansepolcro is a Virginia-based blend released in Cornell & Diehl's limited Small Batch series. Red and bright Virginia leaf are joined by black Cavendish; the blend's distinguishing component is dark fire-cured Kentucky leaf double-fermented in Italy's Sansepolcro region. Tobacco growing in this region, per records, dates back to the 17th century.

Red Virginia's citrus and breadlike tones combine with the Italian Kentucky's woody, smoky depth; black Cavendish carries a sweetness rounding out the pair. Being a limited run, it isn't in the current catalogue. Prepared for smokers looking for Virginia sweetness alongside a smoky note.
