Seersucker

Seersucker is a blend in Cornell & Diehl's Cellar series, presented in plug (pressed) form. It takes its name from the South's summer fabric and was first released in July 2016. Its composition includes cigar leaf, fire-cured Kentucky, Burley, Oriental, Virginia, and black Cavendish.

The combination of cigar leaf and dark fire-cured Kentucky gives the blend a dark character along the axis of leather, earth, and spice; the plug form is well suited to letting the leaves fuse together over time. The maker states the product is designed to mature over seven to ten years of aging, and gives strength, flavor, and room note values as high. Suited to experienced smokers accustomed to cigar tobacco character and presentations sliced from a block.
