Speakeasy

Speakeasy Navy Blend is a blend in Cornell & Diehl's Cellar series, built on the traditional navy flake concept. Oriental leaf and dark fire-cured Kentucky are added to a Virginia-and-Perique pairing; a rum top note ties the blend to the navy tradition. It was first released in July 2016.

At the center of the smoke is woody, earthy, lightly smoky Kentucky leaf. Virginia builds the base with tangy dark fruit and citrus tones, Perique adds spice, and the rum casing is applied in a measure that doesn't mask the leaves. Being offered in pressed slices, it can be packed either rubbed out or folded; it's full-bodied with a pronounced nicotine load.
