Sun Bear

Sun Bear is a Virginia-Oriental sliced tobacco released in Cornell & Diehl's limited Small Batch series. Red and bright Virginia leaf are joined by Basma and Izmir Orientals. Honey taken from head blender Jeremy Reeves' own hives in South Carolina, along with a small amount of silver tequila and elderflower, is used as the casing.

Despite being cased, the blend isn't classed as aromatic; the casing serves to bring out the fruity, floral side of the Oriental and Virginia leaf. The smoke follows a bright, fresh line, finishing creamy and round. In later years of the series, versions with different casings such as Tupelo and Bourbon Cask were released.
