Warped: Cloud Hopper

Cloud Hopper is a joint effort between Kyle Gellis, founder of cigar maker Warped, and Jeremy Reeves, head blender at Cornell & Diehl; it's named after Warped's cigar series of the same name and is one of two Warped pipe tobaccos introduced in 2019. The blend's backbone is AA-grade Dominican Criollo cigar leaf, joined by traditional Italian air-cured leaf, yellow and red Virginias, and Perique. After pressing, the mixture is cut into broken flake.

It's an unflavored blend; its profile is described as carrying earth, spice, and citrus notes, along with hints of cream and coffee. Thanks to the texture the cigar leaf brings, it offers a smoke with a pronounced tobacco character despite having no Latakia. Aimed at smokers looking for blends that bridge cigars and pipes, accustomed to preparing broken flake.
