Kings Stride is a blend built jointly by Warped founder Kyle Gellis and Cornell & Diehl head blender Jeremy Reeves, introduced at the end of 2019 alongside Cloud Hopper. Its composition combines Louisiana Perique with five-year-aged Burley and Virginia leaf, rounded out by a special black Cavendish made by pressing and steaming cigar leaf. The mixture is pressed and presented as a crumble cake, which the smoker breaks apart to whatever fineness they prefer.
It's an unflavored blend, and its profile is described as reaching toward dark fruit and chocolate. Perique's spice, the earthy texture of aged Burley, and the leathery note of cigar leaf sit together. Aimed at smokers wanting a full, complex smoke without Latakia, comfortable working with cake-form tobaccos.
