Warped: Midsommar

Midsommar is one of the limited releases jointly prepared by Warped Cigars founder Kyle Gellis and Cornell & Diehl head blender Jeremy Reeves. Per the maker's description, the blend uses 2019-harvest Canadian bright Virginia, 2014-harvest white Burley, and aged Basma along with Izmir Oriental together; a light rum-and-molasses casing ties the components together. The leaf is pressed into cake form, which allows both slice-and-fill packing and further aging.

On the character side, the earthy and nutty tones Burley and Oriental bring are balanced by Virginia's natural sweetness; the casing isn't dominant, sitting instead as a background-level sweetness. Nicotine load is close to medium-high, making it suited to smokers looking for texture and body rather than an aromatic. The name comes from the blend being designed with summer evenings in mind. Being a limited release, it isn't in regular production.
