Warped: Saint Espresso 2022

Saint Espresso is an aromatic blend released in limited quantity in spring 2022 as a collaboration between Warped and Cornell & Diehl. It's built by combining three separate Cavendish types: a special Cavendish made from Eastern North Carolina red Virginia, black Cavendish from unsweetened One Sucker Kentucky Burley, and — taking the lead role in the blend — lightly flavored Dominican cigar-leaf Cavendish. The leaves are steamed and toasted; the mixture is mostly ribbon cut with some larger pieces mixed in.

As its name suggests, it's built around an espresso association; its profile is described with cocoa, black coffee, and cream notes alongside fermented dark fruit, wood, and a hint of leather. The casing is more restrained than classic syrup-heavy Cavendish aromatics, letting the tobacco character come forward. Aimed at smokers who want an aromatic but avoid overly sweet blends; being a limited run, it isn't consistently available on the market.
