Warped: Sarto

Sarto is the first Latakia-containing pipe blend from the Warped and Cornell & Diehl partnership. Aged Virginia leaf, fine Orientals, and Perique are topped with a measured amount of Latakia and dark fire-cured Kentucky; the result is a balanced English mixture where smoke and spice don't jump to the front. The cut is broken flake — pressed leaf boxed in a broken-apart state.

On the flavor side, Virginia's mature sweetness and Perique's peppery sharpness stand out; Latakia builds more of a smoky texture in the background. Nicotine load is medium. Suited to those looking for a measured, steadily smokable English mixture rather than a heavy Latakia bomb. The blend is named after the Cane Corso dog belonging to Warped founder Kyle Gellis and was designed as a companion to the brand's Until The End release.
