Warped: Scarecrow 2022

This is the September 30, 2022 release of Scarecrow, the autumn series from Warped and Cornell & Diehl. The composition follows the same skeleton as the previous release: a special red Virginia Cavendish made from 2017 dark red and 2019 orange-red flue-cured leaf, 2014-harvest aged white Burley, and old-style air-cured dark leaf. The mixture is pressed for days and sliced into crumble cake; it's lightly moist straight from the tin.

The chocolate, vanilla, and caramel-leaning top note is again kept measured in this release; records note the aged white Burley is a touch more pronounced than in the 2021 release, with nicotine at a medium level. Its pressed structure makes the blend well suited to aging. Being released in limited quantity, it isn't in continuous production.
