White Lightning

White Lightning is one of Cornell & Diehl's ribbon-cut aromatic blends. Its base holds a concentrated mixture of red and light-colored Virginia, joined by Louisiana Perique. On the casing side, applejack forms the foundation, topped with raspberry and vanilla notes.

On the maker's scale, strength is low and flavor intensity medium. Since Perique's fermented-fruit spice works in the same direction as the apple and red-fruit casing, the blend stays within the fruited-aromatic band. Aimed at smokers looking for a mild-nicotine, clearly cased everyday blend.
