Anniversary Blend No. 24 Balkan Kake is the anniversary blend Cup O' Joes prepared for its twenty-fourth year. Cyprus Latakia, Oriental leaf, and fermented Virginias are pressed into a crumbly kake (krumble kake) that breaks apart easily by hand into ribbon form. Its appearance is mottled, carrying brown, dark brown, black, and a small amount of light tones.

In character, Latakia leads: it sets a smoky, woody, earthy, faintly leathery base. The Virginias add a tangy dark fruit, bread, sugar, and citrus tone, while the Orientals contribute dry spice and herbal notes.
