Blenders Bench: Blonde Burley

Blonde Burley is the light-colored Burley leaf sold in Daughters & Ryan's single-leaf Blenders Bench line. Burley is an air-cured tobacco with low sugar content, so it burns cool and has little tendency to bite the tongue.

Its flavor structure runs toward nuts, cocoa, and earth, with sweetness staying in the background. In blending it's used as a body-and-nicotine carrier and as a base leaf with high casing absorbency; it's aimed at smokers building their own blends.
