Ryback is a dark-colored blend prepared with Burley smokers in mind, combining Burley with fire-cured Kentucky leaf and Virginia. It's cut very fine (shag) and packaged with low moisture, so it shouldn't be packed too tightly before smoking.
On the palate, Burley's nutty, creamy base and the dark-fired leaf's smoky, spicy weight come forward, while Virginia sets up a sweet-tart balance in the background. Nicotine level is above medium. Aimed at smokers wanting an unflavored, smoky, full Burley with the tobacco's own flavor at the front.
