Caro Mio

Caro Mio is Dan Tobacco's caramel-focused aromatic blend. Its body is largely black Cavendish, with only a small proportion of rubbed Virginia flake added. The casing, per the maker's description, is a creamy toffee-caramel note, and the idea behind the name is a nod to Italian desserts like panna cotta or crème caramel.

The Cavendish weight makes the blend low in nicotine, soft, and cool-burning. Suited to smokers who like sweet aromatics and want a light mixture they can smoke any time of day, as well as those new to the pipe. If a spicy or smoky character is what's wanted, this blend doesn't offer it.
