Da Vinci

Da Vinci is a ribbon-cut aromatic blend in which golden Virginia and soft black Cavendish are flavored with Tuscan red wine. It is produced at Dan Tobacco's facility in the German town of Lauenburg. The casing recipe is presented alongside the Renaissance theme that gives the blend its name.

Up front there's a soft vanilla sweetness, and behind it a tannic, lightly sour trace of the wine; both are kept restrained enough not to mask the leaf's own flavor. Nicotine sits between mild and medium, burning cool and even. Suited to smokers looking for a moderately flavored aromatic without a heavy sauce.
