Donegal belongs to Dan Tobacco's "Treasures of Ireland" series, a nod to Irish tobacco tradition. The blend combines sweet Virginia leaf with Burley and fermented black Cavendish, topped with a faint forest-fruit note. The leaf is presented ready rubbed, making it easy to pack, and it burns cool.

The Burley gives the blend a dry body and a nutty base, while the Cavendish balances it with sweetness. Suited to smokers who don't want heavy casing but want something softer and sweeter than a fully unflavored Virginia, as well as those wanting a light blend for the evening.
