Limerick

Limerick is a Virginia-Perique flake in Dan Tobacco's "Treasures of Ireland" series. With Perique kept to about five percent, the spice is noticeable but not dominant; the blend's body is carried largely by dark Virginia leaf.

The tin note carries breadlike, yeasty Virginia tones alongside traces of raisin, stone fruit, and bitter chocolate. On the smoke, a dark, soft sweetness leaning toward plum and fig comes forward, without any sharp tartness.
