Okapi

Okapi is an aromatic blend Dan Tobacco builds on high-natural-sugar Virginia leaf. The leaf is first pressed, then hand-crumbled into a ready-rubbed state; this preparation preserves the flake's slow burn while making it easier to pack. Creamy vanilla and rose essence are used as casing.

It's a mild-nicotine tobacco with a soft smoke; since casing is kept moderate, the Virginia's breadlike sweetness still comes through. Suited to smokers wanting a measured aromatic they can smoke all day, staying away from heavy syrupy blends. Distributed in 50- and 250-gram packagings.
