Flake Medallions

Flake Medallions is a blend bringing together sweet Virginia with spicy perique, cut into coin shapes. At the center of the roll sits a fermented, soft black cavendish core; this core adds extra body and sweetness to the blend.

On the smoke, Virginia's natural sweetness and perique's peppery sharpness move together, with cavendish softening the transition between them. Being coin cut, the slices need to be rubbed out or folded before packing. It suits smokers seeking the Virginia/perique structure in a softer, more lightly flavored form.
