Sweet Mixture No. 4

Sweet Mixture No. 4 is the fourth blend in Davidoff's limited Sweet Mixture line, limited to five thousand tins. The Swiss-origin brand's pipe tobaccos are produced in Germany.

The blend is built on Mexican-origin burley and black cavendish; these leaves are noted as undergoing double fermentation. Double fermentation gives the tobacco a mature, fruity sweetness that comes from the process rather than a topping. Because of the burley share, nicotine is medium and the smoke carries a dry body. It suits smokers wanting to stay away from heavy syrupy aromatics and take their sweetness from the leaf itself.
