This blend, the unadulterated Virginia branch of the Four Square series, is a continuation of the tradition begun in 1922 by George Dobie & Son in Paisley, Scotland. After the brand passed to Godfrey Phillips, the Paisley factory closed in 1956, and blending moved first to Denmark, then to the United States.
