De Luxe Navy Rolls is a blend where Virginia leaves are pressed into rolls together with perique and sliced into medallion shapes. The tin contains neatly arranged, spiral-patterned round slices. Folding rather than crumbling the slices before packing gives a long, even burn; the blend catches easily and finishes leaving a clean ash in the bowl.

On the smoke, Virginia's sweet, fruity base and perique's black-pepper-like sharp spice trade places as the smoke progresses. This sharpness shouldn't be confused with nicotine strength; the blend's strength runs close to medium, with a soft texture. It suits smokers who love Virginia-perique mixtures, especially medallion-cut ones. Since pipe tobacco production under the Dunhill name has ended, the blend is no longer produced under this name.
