Light Flake

Light Flake is Dunhill's unadulterated Virginia flake. It's made from selected lemon-yellow and bronze Virginia leaves; the word "light" in the name refers to the leaf's color rather than its strength, which stays in the medium band. It's tinned in thin slices, packed either rubbed out or folded.

The flavor profile is led by hay, meadow grass and citrus; a sweetness deepening toward honey and dark fruit emerges as it ages. With its slow burn and cool smoke, it suits smokers seeking unadulterated Virginia and those wanting a flake tobacco set aside for cellaring. Due to European packaging regulations the blend was later offered simply as "Flake," and production under the Dunhill name has ended.
