Night Cap

Night Cap is among Dunhill's heaviest English mixtures. A blend of Virginia, perique, latakia and oriental leaves, presented coarse cut. Latakia soot forms the blend's backbone, perique sharpens the spice, while the Virginia side holds a sweet base underneath.

It's very strong in nicotine; as its name suggests, it suits being smoked slowly and at length as the day's last pipe. Its effect notably intensifies when smoked on an empty stomach. It's built for experienced smokers accustomed to strong tobaccos who aren't put off by latakia's weight; it is not a first choice for newcomers to pipe tobacco. Production under this name ended with the brand's exit from pipe tobacco.
