Ready Rubbed (re-release)

Ready Rubbed is a lightly aromatic mixture in the Dunhill line and one of the blends reintroduced in 2015. Its base contains aged warm-air-cured leaves from the US, Brazil and Africa, joined by sun-cured and fire-cured tobaccos and orientals from Indonesia and India. The leaf is sweetened with a light fruit essence, then heated and pressed by the classic cavendish method and sliced into a rubbed-out cut.

The result is a moderately sweet, mild blend; its nicotine load is light and its topping level low. It suits smokers wanting a middle ground between aromatic and unadulterated that can be smoked at length through the day. Production under the Dunhill name has ended.
