Standard Mixture Full

The Standard Mixture family is among the classic English mixtures Dunhill introduced in 1921, offered in three grades by latakia proportion. Full is the heaviest of the three: an oriental leaf of Turkish origin and Cyprus latakia are layered over a flame-cured Virginia body, and the mixture is prepared fine ribbon cut. No flavoring is used; the sweetness comes from the Virginia itself and the sharpness from the latakia.

The smoke runs cool and straight, and can scorch the tongue if smoked fast. It's a blend designed for smokers seeking latakia intensity, accustomed to unadulterated English mixtures; it is not an entry point for those coming from aromatic tobacco. After Dunhill exited pipe tobacco production around 2018, the recipe has been continued under the Peterson name, so Dunhill-labeled tins are now out of production.
