Mediterranean Blend

Mediterranean is one of the blends sold under its own name by E. A. Carey, a Chicago-based mail-order house. Per the maker's description, it is a golden-colored mixture of air-cured burley and Virginia leaves, presented ribbon cut. Its flavoring runs on soft vanilla.

With a low nicotine load and a moderate flavor body, the blend falls into the light aromatic class, suited to all-day smoking. It draws the interest of newcomers to aromatics or those seeking a low-bite tobacco. It is no longer on Carey's current blend list; per records, it has been discontinued.
