4th Generation 1855 is a straight Virginia blend in the Erik Stokkebye line. High in natural sugar, it is made from well-aged golden flue-cured leaf and presented ready rubbed, so it can be packed straight from the tin.

On the palate, meadow grass, bread, citrus peel and spice tones stand out, backed by a sweetness leaning toward dried fruit, caramel and cream. The nicotine load is higher than many Virginias in its class, so it suits experienced smokers. The blend's name refers to the birth year of Erik Peter Stokkebye, born in 1855, who started the Stokkebye tobacco tradition.
