Evening Flake

Evening Flake is an unadulterated flake prepared by adding a measure of perique to golden virginia leaves. The mixture is left to warm-press for a week and then sliced into flake; this process lets the leaves' flavors meld together.

On the smoke, virginia's dry-grass and citrus-peel echoes are joined by a darker, fruitier intensity leaning toward plum and fig, occasionally approaching cocoa. The perique share stands out more here than in similar blends in the series. It suits smokers seeking a long, slow evening bowl, familiar with the VaPer palate.
